I do not use the schedule feature due to the unreliable nature of  that feature. The best time to post .... is when you do it. 

Hi Peter -- I use the post scheduling function and it typically works for me. Regarding timing, I imagine it depends on what you are looking to achieve. My primary goal is to attract potential clients as they search for real estate related posts in my area so the exposure I receive from AR is "always open".  

Typically, I tend to "schedule" for early am and then check in the morning to see if everything looks okay.

I have not used it or tried to use it in months, Peter! As for the best time to post - I'm sure there's a 'best' time for that but, the best time for me is when I can get to it!

   I haven't used it in a long time, because it wasn't working.  

   Best time to post is when people are sitting at their computers or looking at their tablets/smartphones.   Eastern Time that would be 10:05AM coffee break, 12:05PM lunch, 6:00PM home from work.

It has been working for me.  I usually schedule for 1 a.m. PST, to get the early riser East Coasters.

I post in the mornings, mostly between 6 and 7 CST.

I guess I am a stream of consciousness writer so it is whenever the spirit moves me. The bigger question is who is the audience. In my opinion if the content is put into a specific context then the public will find it.

I tend to read blog posts in the morning with coffee, and at night before bed.  I assume most people so the same but I'll be curious what others say.  

I haven't had much of a problem with the schedule feature but you know...

I spent the last few days in a monastery and scheduled all of my posts ahead of time.  Looks like they all posted without a problem.

I've never used it..just write and post or write and save in draft form. Michael Jacobs appears to use it and hasn't any problems so it must work.

There are some early birds. Barbara T is on AR before she goes to work out. I would say 5-7 EST.

I also notice at 3-4 AM EST there are eastern AR posting or answering questions. Can not sleep?

I tried to schedule one time & it did what it wanted to do. As far as best time to post...subjective if the goal is to just go online. If you want AR exposure, Fridays are dead, Mondays are a horse-race but Rainers are always around

I use it all the time.  If I have time during the week, I will write up some market reports and schedule them throughout the week.  I usually pick 6 am to post.

I do not use the schedule, but it is a great idea if you have time to write few posts at once. 

I use it infrequently, and have not had any issues.

I know there is very little activity during the weekend, so that's where I throw out my listings because I don't really care about comments. If I want visibility and participation, I try to post it early in the morning Monday - Friday.

I use the schedling function all the time now. Bugs of recent years seem to have been fixed. 

I find that the best time to post, if you want lots of comments, is early in the morning.

I haven't anything positive about the scheduler working. Never use it. I suspect mornings are good but perhaps AR has some stats?

Mornings and evenings are good times to post your daily blogs. I schedule a daily reblog to be posted before my morning blog.

I have no idea... it worked so badly for me years ago, I've never had the nerve to take the risk again. At the end of the day, if you have posts prepared for future publication, how long does it really take to log on a publish without scheduling?
