You have to keep up & update your website - it's not a set it & forget it kind of thing. You would get better SEO if you had a blog on it that way Google sees new info being put into it.

75% of all traffic starts at Zillow and company, so I think while it's important to have a site, if you are not actively moving traffic to your site through lead capture methods you create (ebooks, etc) you're competing for eyes and attention more than ever. Is your site Mobile Friendly? That is a MUST!!! 89% of all visitors do so from a device.

A high quality website will generate traffic. You may need an update.

No telling ... my sites are getting traffic and I am getting calls and consult requests. I even had a new agent ask if I am hiring.  You may want to have an expert perform an analysis on your site to see what's happening. 

No they are not but media has become spread out on the web. Think of it like the swtich from the old network controlled days and 335 cable channels now.

Not sure what you mean.  My website gets great traffic - over 100,000 pageviews/month.  I see many other people growing their websites.  The only thing that I've seen is that some social media traffic to sites is going downas they've changed their algorithms.  You want to focus on your own site where you have control.

Websites continue to exist.  Personal sites are not obsolete.

I'm not having any issues - make sure you site is mobile-friendly. The majority of online views comes from mobile use so, you may want to check to be sure your site is working on your mobile devices, Tony Lewis.

I do think that people don't click through as much to another website which we see here on AR if you try to make us do that. So whatever website has your information, make sure it's pretty comprehensive. My community websites do the best, but even there, they don't click through to my website much; but they will click through if I have an enticing LISTING photo and link to its website.

Your site will have more traffic if it is updated with quality content frequently. Our website is integrated into our social media as well.

Your website is an integral part of the relationship you build with your clients and sphere.  They have to be reminded (taught) that they should look for answers there and you have to be diligent in effectively marrying your social media, blogs, and landing pages to bring them to the source, you.

Tony Lewis I think people have an easier access to 'apps'!

My recent client has several public applications on his iphone and I did not even push him to use mine. It is typical story, even if they use your product, they still will be checking Z, Redfin, etc. etc. even i'm telling them that they all pull the same information from the same mls sources. 

I find blogging to be more productive use of my time than my website.

I have seen a small reduction but it has not been a big issue.

Device friendly. Most seach on Redfin better technology.....

I had three new hits just this weekend, but I do update it constatntly to keep the SEO strong.

websites are very active for us and Google indexes the posts I provide on those sites....each agent has his/her own website and I work all of them!!!!!

You have to create unique content and the problem is the volume on the Internet is drastically larger than it was years ago so maybe your site is not longer relevant. People follow trends and share YouTube videos and nonsense. Everyone wants a laugh.
