The Federal Reserve Bank is not federal.
The Federal Reserve Bank has no reserves.
The Federal Reserve Bank is not a bank.
The Fed is the most blatant scam in history.

Well I know variable loans are adjusting in July, so maybe they will blip up, I heard a rumor today...no rate hikes at all this year.

Yawn!! Another 25 basis points? So the rate then will be 4% for Jumbo or 4.5% for conforming. Where's Chicken little when you need him!

I have no crystal ball. Interest rates have been held artificially low for years now... at some point they will go up.

I hate to say it but, they need to go up - I just don't see it going above 5% by the year's end though. There's my 'prediction' for what it's worth!

This is when the politics of manipulating the economy will shine. An upward increase may make President Trump look too good while no movement will underscore the perception that the sky is falling. C'mon Chicken Little get it in gear!

I don't get alarmed by them like I used to. I believe the public has turned a blind eye so think it will have very little impact on the market.

I typically don't spend much time on those things where I have no control. The interest rates have been low for years so an increase would not be a surprise.

We will see some necessary increases continue in the future. Interest rates have been artificially low for too long.

I do not think things are as strong over all as the markets would make most think. WIll they raise rate to hurt the markets and punish Trump? Or will they be neutral and keep things steady as they go?

I do not think anything changed today. A small increase will unlikely make any difference.

Honestly, I thnk interest rates have been artificially low for a long, long time. I think them raising slightly may slow down the market and stabilize it a bit, or even correct it a bit. Prices are above 2007 peak prices here and I just don't think it's sustainable. -Kasey

I suspect they will continue to raise them until such a time as they need to lower them to jumpstart the economy.
