Yes. I've seen agents with "Zillow Premier Agent" on their business cards.

I think they are legion but they keep quiet. 

My issue is more with NAR than Zillow. Zillow is doing what they should, taking advantage of NAR's head in the sand. We're watching the thief wander the house and doing nothing. I digress, I create my own economy.

It would be interesting to know how many leads are converted.  In my previous brokerage's system people put in bogus phone number and email so there's no way you can contact them.

It's no surprise that some love Zillow, Zillow took in billions of dollars since inception.

Bob Crane I am aware of several local agents advertise as Primer Zillow agents.

Zillow sells the same leads to multiple agents. I think they are in some agent's marketing budget, but unless they are super fast in responding to the inquiry, they will lose out. I think agents can do far better with working their sphere of influence and past client base. 

I love it for rentals and also for checking all listings including FSBOs in Florida.

Some of the agents in my community have had success with Zillow. Others say it is a wash and then others say it is a ripoff. I do not pay for leads.

Brokers believe throwing agents a bone such as a vapor from the darkside, is going above and beyond for their agents. The BROKER loves it. 

"Look," the broker says, "I provide leads." That a good recruiting hook and a means to defer responsibility onto the agent.

What needs to be done is calculate the average annual transaction  per agent in  the brokers office. Less than 10 says all that need to be said. The dark side is sucking them dry.

20 per agent average says the Dominion of Evil Intent is delivering the goods. The party is on their street until the dark lord's plan to bypass agent and broker becomes a reality. WELL  there is that $2,500 transaction option.
