Consuming too much information combined with Distraction

Interesting concept..You learn by doing and completing..that is what I do!

I feel I do well at shutting out the noise Annette Lawrence , Palm Harbor, FL 727-420-4041 - including when I get calls from friends that want to bring  drama into my world ... I shut it down fast by saying ... that's just too much drama for me ... and I refuse to engage in it.

I love to drink wine and know stuff, and seem to be getting worse with age.  3:)

I have not heard of that but, will say that I suffer from it!  LOL

That is my BIGGEST issue with information overload - I'm happy to learn, in fact, an education junkie!  

HOWEVER, once I learn it, I need to do something with that information, whether it's act on it, plan with it, relay it, etc. 

It's truly overwhelming sometimes but, hey, we ask for it, right?!!

     Whatever it is, it barely shows up on Google, Yahoo, DogPile, or Bing search.   I found a course (?) from a guy named Todd Herman, your post, and a domain name that was created a few weeks ago.

Absolutely, more info than can be consumed in a lifetime.

Hmm...I was thinking of obesity from too many main courses.

I had no idea... and I figured if I've survived almost 7 decades without knowing, I can continue to survive without knowing.... and if I go and read the post... maybe all the extra information with overwhelm me!

We need to focus on the information that will lead to more productivity. 

It is easy to spend hours on ActiveRain and Facebook rather than taking care of business.

When I experience information overload...its typically because of a lack of full understanding of the topic.. so I turn to experts for advice
