I pay no attention to gender and haven't for decades. I do my own thing and determine my own level of success and that's the beauty of our profession. Gender inequality in the corporate world, academia, etc. is a whole other story.

I honestly think this is one business that is probably more gender neutral than any other...  The power is in the mirror!

Unlike many other fields, I don't think gender plays a role in being successful in real estate.  

All people have their unique strengths and weaknesses.

I think both can an have been successful.

But, I do believe that most men that are not successful leave - both from an ego perspective and financial need.

Depends on what you are looking at - I saw the other day that there are more male brokers than female, at leaast here in CA, but not sure that means anything at all! Gender doesn't matter

I don't think gender plays into success or failure in real estate. Determination, prospecting, marketing properly, attitude, etc do. 

Real estate is one of the most equal opportunity careers out there.

There are more women & they do better at my company overall. I have to say that in my company unfortunately it's still a good ole' boys club.

When I first got in the business I think men had an advantage. Now I think women do because we have greater numbers. My clients like working with me because I am a woman.

I don't see success as gender driven in real estate.  There are those that are totally inept and those that are not ... as is true in all live and professions.

It depends on which step on the ladder the speaker stands.

Based on some of the 'hen fests' I have attended, the glass ceiling is keeping a lot of fowl from reaching their dreams.

These professional real estate agents clearly have not matured into accountable business owners, yet they are not slow to seek others to blame. None of them are so licensed but point out, 'How many broker, managing brokers are male?"

I don't think gender should determine whether one will be successful, it is all about who you are and what you do with your talents.

Its a proven fact that women are more successful then men in residential real estate!
