I've used the wireless but am not a fan - the wireless headphones really slowed down and interferred with my connection sometimes slowing me down and interupting the wifi signal to the internet

I chose wired - works much better for me

Generally I use a set of $1.99 earbuds, but sometimes I use an LG bluetooth headset similar to the one in the bottom right of you photo.

I use a new bluetooth Jabra that I use on my smartphone when in the office. But never tried it on my pc.

Funny thing, for the very few times I used the pc, I use a wired earphone thingy with the built-in microphone and it worked fine. Except after half an hour, it drove me crazy.

I've used wired ones in the past and have been fond of ones with a microphone you can position infront of your mouth, like the first one you show.  Ear buds that go in the ear are prefereable to me as opposed to ones that fit over the ear.  When I'm working a radio console, I'll have the ear buds in my ear and the microphone headset over them.

Fred,

Ron went through a bunch of them, and hated them all.  I am not a fan of head sets.  My suggestion would be to go Microsoft and see what they recommend.  A

Fred Griffin A while back I purchased Dragon Naturally Speaking and it came with a headset. It is not wireless, but it works real well. If I have to say anything negative it would be the earmuffs are spring loaded. After a while I have to give my ears a rest. I would recommend something that doesn't put pressure on your ears.

If you have bluetooth available, I really like these: click here

They are light-weight, comfortable, good sound, easy controls, and the battery lasts for many hours. They charge with a micro USB which is a common cable.

What are you going to use it for?  If it's for phone calls, I recommend the Plantronics line.

So far I've heard Sennheiser, Bose, Plantronics.   TYVM, keep it coming.

If I was trying to stay on a budget, I would look at Logitech.

I just bought a wireless $350 ish pair rated high quality that is living up to all expectations Seinhesser (?) for TV watching. The cheap stuff works well too depending on what you want in quality, clarity and performance. Shop twice but spend once is the watch word here. Best buy lets you try them
