Diana - We volunteer at a couple of different non-profit organizations, give blood, and donate a portion of our income to other non-profit organizations. We also did a lot for our sons high school, and my wife has done additional things through her work, Intel. We are very big into giving back.

 One on one.  There are people out there living right on the financial edge.  I'm not talking about the work for food winos, I mean people whose business has failed, or they got laid off from their job, or for some other reason they have hit rock bottom.

    I want to help them get food, get their mortgage payment or rent paid, keep their lights on, cover their auto insurance and car payment, etc.  They need to get through this time of need, until their life returns to normal.

Yes. I have a heart and want to help those in need. I especially have a desire to help the most unfortunate and youth.

I am an active member of the Destin Rotary Club and serve on several not for profit boards.

I typically donate anonymously in a variety of ways.  In the past I have also tutored at an elementary school.  The possibilities to participate in our communities are unlimited.   

Local charities

Support the church of your choice, this is my number 1 thing. Always be willing to help others when possible.

In any way it is possible. Blogging about your communities one of the ways to support your local businesses and events. But of course, there are many other ways we do on daily basis. 

Not into Quid Pro Quo, so the "back" part is never a part of the equation.

I do believe in giving until it hurts, not to give "back", but rather because it is what is expected from us and requested from God.  

Currently about 40 hours a week volunteering with various church outreach groups that help the homeless and others in our community.   But this load may lighten up a little as the weather warms up.

Lots of volunteer work and organizing for several different charities in our area - contributing to animal, children and the elderly organizations as well as supporting our service men and women!

I really enjoy volunteer work and would love to be able to do it full-time - it's the most rewarding thing that I do!

Wayne is a very active member of the local Rotary which participates in fund raisers and community service projects year long.

Community organizations, Civil Air Patrol; various donations.

I do every chance i get. A big supporter of youth sports and schools. 

I am active and support many of the Clubs and programs in the area. I am also active in my church. I always stop by different local businesses everyday.

By doing Business locally

We donate to local charities, Young Life, the pregnancy resource center, etc. We don't have as much time as we would like to work on programs but we donate a lot to our church when then supports local ministries and global missions. We've been on REALTORS for Kids, served at the annual Thanksgiving dinner, etc. With three kids and busy work lives, we are more likely to jump on something that has a short need vs. a long-term commitment.

I have spent years working as a volunteer for non-profits. Lately it has been more about making financial contributions, as well as being involved in politics.

Leadership positions.

When there is time, I like to go to Habitat for Humanity days for REALTORS, and also our local association helps older homeowners with their landscaping every summer.

I am a director to my local board and also volunteer at a number of cooking events.

We try to feed 20-30 families during the holidays and im always for our Veterans causes when ever possible.

I participate in many giving back activities through my civic organizations, Realtor Association and church.

I am on the board of the King George YMCA and as such, do a lot of volunteer work on their behalf.  For other causes near and dear to my heart, I stroke checks.
