I've found some interesting things left behind but nothing so gruesome.

I've had one shut the electric & not prop open the refirgerator door. That's always fun.

Winter agents, defined as those who endured through 2006 -20010, know better than to open those doors. That is why we carry that roll of duct tape.

As a landlord, they look at that appliance, see $2,000, take a deep breath then place the hand on the grip......

Nothing surprises me anymore, Nathan. But I'm glad none of my investor clients have made such a discovery as yet in their properties.

I've had a number of strange things found in properties -- including dead animals, but never a body.  I did not hear about this and just thankful it was not me finding this in one of my listings.  Gross!

So far the freezers have all been empty!

We have only had a sellers wife wrapped in the dining room carpet, rolled into the garage, stacked firewood on top of her.  Yep, wouldn't want her to move I guess.

That is a new one!   I usually remind Sellers to check the dishwasher & washer/dryer as often times those are missed.

Fortunately I no longer many rentals - not even my own! and much happier for it

We teach our agents: Do not open freezers in vacant homes unless power is on-rotting meat of any kind will make you upchuck...

No, I did not hear that story. That is terrible.... 

I never had anything terrible left in the fridge, just rotten food ( still gross).
