I am with Barbara Todaro on this. Whatever it is you are selling must be included in the title and grab the attention of those who may want/need it.

I never pay attention to real estate seminar titles....I'm not interested in seminars.... but you would create a title that would attract the Avatar or group of people who would be interested.... if it's a first time home buyer or 55+ buyer....the title would be a trigger for whomever the buyers would be..

Mattison,
Yes, there are many catchy titles her on Active Rain, and not all of them deal with buying a home. The best titles will be those that catch the attention of YOUR marketplace, what works in one city will not necessarily work in another. Real estate is very local from street to street in many areas. Hi Mattison Wilson , just let your creative juices flow. Here are a couple of spur of the moment ideas that just popped into my mind (lots of vacant space there) for them to rattle around:
The PRICE IS RIGHT: When to accept an offer ( without Drew Carey )
Investors: How to buy low and sell HIGH (except when on pain meds)
I am pretty loquacious with my blog titles, but these post titles seemed to generate lots of clicks and comments when writing posts:
--Detained by the Police for DWR: Driving While a Realtor®
--There may be no law against eating a banana while driving in California, but is there a law against putting a banana on the side of a rental house in West Lafayette, Indiana?
-Don't you want Somebody to Like?
- Engaging first time Lafayette, Indiana home buyers through the closing and then some!
- Rodney Dangerfield and "AS IS"; two words that get No Respect.
- Does the USPS know the way to San Jose?
-My 5 PM Appointment was an exotic Septuagenarian, and did she ever take me for a ride.
- If Buyers Are Liars, Are Sellers Non-Tellers?
Although I don't enjoy writing that much, I do have fun with the occasional piece that I post here on Active Rain.

I would keep the title simple. Serious homebuyers are seeking information and are more conerned with the content and value of the seminar.

Mattison,
I don't know that mine was super catchy, but I did get people to sign up for my workshop at the Library -and the Library helped promote it. Mine was just called "Making Your Home Stand Out - A Home Seller's Workshop" - 10 Key tips....etc. I was pleased with how it all went.

I have no particular titles but being catchy is one thing but you also want to convey what the seminar is about and the value to the consumer

I don't know.
What does the seminar actually deliver. Whatever the title promises you must deliver.
What has been the category of the top selling product for decades? This is your clue for what others are willing to PAY for. Their time, like yours should not be regarded as FREE.
Every real estate agent training class suggest what's on the mind of the each home buying segment. The 1st timer, move up, prestige and down size, each have unique expectations. And they all want an advantage.
NEVER underestimate the attraction of the 2am shows that repeat, "Get wealthy in real estate and risk none of your own money!" 250 people, every weekend, meet in a hotel conference room ready to take their piece of the pie.
IF the seminar is about the consumer, the title will be apparent. If it is about the agent or lender, titles are hard to come by.
Last clue. "What transformation does the seminar create in the attendee?"
That is your title.

It has to portray a benefit to the buyer (WIFM) or it won't attract!
"How to buy a home for FREE!"
Yes, its true.
