I do a lot of computer work, marketing and make lots of phone calls. it is actually a very productive day.

You buy a monster truck, wrap your branding all over it, slap a plow on the front of that bad boy and drive all over your target markets plowing out people's driveways, clearing their roads, and shoveling their walkways.  Door knocking opportunity to ask if they'd like some salt with that.

Bonus marketing points if you do all of the above while wearing a cape.

I did everything i need to do but can not most days when the phone is ringing off the hook and i am on the go every waking minute. I was able to touch base with every client. They loved the communication. I was able to get some not so fun tasks done like updating my books. I then when on a listing blitz and got 1 in my third call. 

With our business, there is always something to do from our home offices! And sometimes it's a great time to also take a little "us" time.

We live in a new world where I can market from anywhere that I can get an internet connection.  And I have worked from some very remote locations.

I find it ironic that when snow days occur and schools are closed, the students have no objection to going up deeper into the snow to enjoy the skiing/snowboarding!

My first sale of 2017 was done on shoe shoes on January 1st!

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade; however when you live in a snow globe, buy snow shoes!

My guess would be no one is out shopping anyhow, the closures equal the lack of buyers.

I would like to have a snow day .. but there are always things you can do online or prep work for projects etc.

I would spend time coming up with new marketing ideas and doing research.

Relax. Reflect. Rejuvenate.  Read.  Review.  

Fortunately, snow days is something i never need to think about.... here in L.A.

I do not go out in snow. I have many things I do at home.

In rural Maine, snow is handled easily, we have lots of experience and less traffic to plow around. But when snow is in the forecast, you shoot the exterior videos, do the collection for the parts of the listing inventory imagery clips and stills to edit and upload while it snows. I grew up on a farm and if rain hampers spring planting, fall harvest or summer cultivating, you shift quickly to items of inside work on machinery. You don't get a "snow day" off, but deal with snow removal and stay productive. Work around whatever obstacles that make others goof off or waste time. But weave in those vacations... go skiing, snow sledding, travel year round.

Snow days are great times to work on paperwork, connecting with leads and past clients, working your sphere of influence, plus time to catch up on home projects. 

I send out a Jacquie Lawson card of sunshine and warm weather and tell my past clients, sphere, etc etc that days like this won't last long! It is just a soft touch. 

Everyday I'm at home is like a Snow Day and I'm on the phone or computer working it.

For real estate, getting direct marketing pieces done, or a new digital campaign.

No idea.  I guess I'd do marketing stuff.  I work from home, so almost everything I do is not impacted by snow.  Just wouldn't be showing homes or going on appointments.  Could still send over an electronic contract though. 

That is not an issue I deal with in my area.  I do make the most of all situations ... unless we are talking about a power outage ... then it is time to read a good book!

It is a good time to catch up on your paper work and to make some calls.

Sorry can't relate, It's a Florida thing.

Not really - I would stay inside and catch up on computer work.

send clients who want to move to Arizona and receive a referral fee on each referral

Hopefully the phone and internet still work!

I don't have snow emergencies or snow days.

One must ask, "Where are all those 'snow emergency' people at?

They are sitting behind a keyboard.

This is when you do the 'happy dance' becuase the inbound marketing is in place.

Meanwhile find the most hazardous location and make a video of yourself telling folks, "Don't do this at home, I'm a professional."

Not an issue I deal with... if once a year I lose a day, that's fine.
