I refill my ink cartridges in Costco. It takes usually 30 min. So when I'm done with my shopping I also pick up my cartridges. Works for me.

I signed up for it and find it to be EXCELLENT. I have had no problems with it and it has cut down on my toner expense significantly. I highly recommend it. Good Luck! Jeff

Printer ink costs more than Don Perignon champagne. Scam of all scams.
To answer your question, no I haven't tried that program.

I just discovered this service today when I was shopping for a printer at Staples. Crazy you asked about it today as well.

I did, I quit, it screwed up my printer-I literally HAD to use instant ink cartridges after the software update, no more flip flopping. I bailed on it even though the concept is good.

I have that service at home and we are on the $9.99 per month plan. I like it as we always have ink ready and waiting. One word of advice, when it tells you that you are almost out there really are a couple of hundred more copies left before the cartridge is empty.

No. I don't believe subscription services save enough to make it worth while.

Joan Cox - one more way to commit yourself to one company.
Sounds a good idea - though I love my 'freedom'!

I usually wait until a sale and stock up. I dont like anything that just sends me anything especially when it is expensive

ink jet cartridge. They reduced from 40 cc to 25 cc which is not very ethical then 15 cc.
I still have a work horse laser 4300 that title company. It predates chip telling you toners is empty and you find it is 75% full.

Another opportunity to buy overpriced ink?
I am not signing up for a subscription to something like that.

Joan Cox,
I just bought the HP printer and I did sign up for the service. It says that if I use less than 15 pages per month, it is free. If I print more, the price goes from $3-10 per month. I was wondering since this is an old post, did you ever sign up and how do you like it.

Never heard of it. Sorry. My printer uses a toner cartridge and I buy it on Amazon.

Joan - We just switched to a non-HP printer. We also get our print cartridges refilled at Costco, very inexpensive.

Its interesting to read the comments.....loyalty and committing to a company sounds like what we are all after in our business.

I don't use HP for printers... for years had such bad luck with them and such terrible customer service, I swore off of them. I've had a Lexmark for donkey's years now and love it and their support.
