I actually kind of like the idea. My website platform, BoomTown, has a suggestion "box" Platform owners can make suggestions and vote on others suggestions and based on input BoomTown implements them if it is feesible and makes sense. It is not a negative thing or a dogging on the site it is a community of people helping to make it the best platform it can be. It works out great actually and is relatively drama free.
