Craig Protor is OLD SCHOOL.
Old School also means knowing how to use words to communicate. A novel concept in a business that is marketing centric.
His agent programs ARE NOT MORE OFFENSIVE than the dialing for dollars mantra of most KW organizations. You need to pick the horse you want to ride.
What I have and continue to find beneficial through the CP programs is the material provided as resources to create a message that resonates with the intended audience. There is no substitute for good copy that compels the right reader to respond in the manner most beneficial for the agent.
The better news is, races are not much fun if there is only one horse.
You have a choice. That choice is to CHOOSE to mine the gold in whatever opportunity is presented. There is gold in the CP programs, but as you will read, some can not find it. No, you do not need to be willing to fill a yard with signs to benefit from a CP program.

Agree with Endre! Every year we see new agents using the same old tired Proctor tricks. You could probably teach that seminar.

Even though he is Canadian, I can't believe he used any of his tactics up here in his own business or he would have been shut down. Most of what he advises is not permitted nor is it acceptable in Canada. And, at this point VERY old school as others have mentioned. Save your money!

Have not attended any of his events, but a free event is likely worth more than you are paying for it.
- There are sure to be nuggets of info that will inspire.
- There are sure to be fellow attendees that are worth meeting.

Seminars are a fun way to network, get motivated and even the free Tom Ferry ones have a nugget or two you can take from them if you look hard enough (and are open to it). I have no experience with this vendor, but I suggest looking at it through "my eyes" and going for it, if you can get one of those free tickets. I wouldn't pay the money if free was being offered.

Any seminar can be worth the money if you don't expect it to be THE proverbial magic bullet. Take away one or two ideas that work for you, your personality and style and then integrate them. Most seminars get you jacked up, without the follow-up to integration.
Craig Proctor reminds me of the Gold Rush Days. You know who got rich during the gold rush? Not the miners. Those selling picks and shovels to the hoards of people on a mission to get rich quick. Craig sells picks and shovels.

Hi Inna -- I've been to the "free" seminars and can usually find some nugget of information to take away with me. I have never paid for any product or service from this particular vendor. They are very consistent with emails and phone calls. The ability to hit delete has always worked for me but I understand some might find his systems viable.

Well, I just think that overall they are just going to try to sell you his system. I don't even know anyone that uses it or follows him. 'Way back' he was successful & I believe the top guy in Canada.

Don't let them convince you to spend a dime, Inna Ivchenko - it's a sales gimmick/seminar and they will convince you that they have the best shiny program that will make you a HUGE success...NOT TRUE!

Like most things, it can be good if you work the program.
The seminar I attended a number of years ago was a major sales pitch. The two people with whom I attended the seminar, bought the program and were unhappy.

He is from my area. I have attended some of his free seminars over time (same content, just went multiple times for refreshers). I also went to one of his less expensive seminars but did not participate in his expensive seminars or other add-on products.
I had wanted to understand how someone like him did things from a Canadian (or more specifically a local person) rather than listening to an American since the way many things are done in the USA are different than in my area and I could also relate to his local stories.

Choose the method that mirrors the way you do business. I have found that most of these seminars focus on selling something that you won't use and often don't need to succeed.
Think about your business and how you have been getting business until now. Focus on how to get more of what you have been doing successfully and fine tune that method.
Going off track into new territory that might not even be who you are might cause you to loose what you already have.
There is no magic bullet...except for the one selling them to you.

I joined Craig Proctor when I first started in the business. He is a top producer out in Canada. His products and seminars are not cheap...to say the least. But if put into action, it does work. I know a broker out in Alhambra who practices his bus tour, flyer presentation, guarantee promises...he is now the #1 agent in the city. However, it seems to me that it only works during an appreciating market.

Nothing personal against Craig Proctor, but it's always the same old same old. They lure you in with "free", then they sell you the $500 plan, then you are pushed to move up to more coaching or training that costs many thousands of dollars.
Save your money.

Alas, I spent $9,000 to hear the same old tired marketing techniques and hard sell closings that have been used since the MLS was as big as a phone book. No, Craig, it doesn't matter where on the postcard the recipient's address is placed. No, Craig, Facebook responders aren't "raising their hand" to hear from me. The cat walked across their keyboard and that turned into a "lead" that I pay for. C'mon, man, you figured out a long time ago that it's far more profitable to sell your so-called system from a stage than be a real estate agent.
If anyone's interested in coaching, I suggest Ricky Carruth's FREEEE coaching called Zero to Diamond. Check out his dozens of videos on YouTube, implement some of the strategies he suggests and see what happens. Nothing ventured; nothing gained, but at least your wallet won't be lighter by $9,000.

I am always amazed that the movers and shakers of our industry do not chime in on these type programs maybe they are out selling while we are bashing them LOL. A/R has their own now in Ben Kinney has anyone tried his MAgic Bullets yet.
