When I was with large offices, they had reserved parking for customers, right in front. Everyone complied.

When I set up my brokerage 6 years ago, I had the option of going traditional with lots of parking for everyone. But the initial agents who committed to the brokerage saw the advantage of a downtown location - which has been amazing for walk-in and drive-in traffic. We have no designated parking for anyone - and it has worked!

Paul - Our office has two spots right by the front door reserved for customers, though they are rarely both occupied at the same time. With electronic signatures we have fewer clients coming to the office, but most agents will respect the spaces... unless maybe it is raining or snowing.

When I was affilated with a brokerage ... some did and some did not. Parking was always an issue. Generally speaking, some agents did not leave the designated customer parking spaces open for customers.

Yes, we do. I believe the agents abide by it as there are not that many spots and no one would want to lose a walk in client, do to lack of parking.

We have reserved spots right in front of the office. The receptionist can see if an agent parks there. None ever do unless they are in and out in a couple of minutes!

Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, Broker, Tacoma Washington - yes, we do have few assigned spots for visitors. And so far, I have seen everyone follows the guidelines.

We have agent parking at a lot next door. Clients can always find pretty easy street parking, although most of them Metro.

Yes. There exists designated customer parking.
This office has 172 great producing agents. The parking is shared by a property management company, a radiologist and title company.
Whose car is in that designated spot is beyond my capabilities to discern.
I do have a free standing post upon which I will attach my clients name and position in the nearest available space.
When you see a retail business with 'Fixtures for sale' you can get some great stuff.
Do agents abide by that restriction? Only if there is other reasonable parking available.

Yes we are supposed to & it infuriates me to no end. Lazy agents park in front all the time & our clients have to hoof it. It's not right but I'm tired of arguing the matter.
