I read the Mac Rumors blogs regularly and despite the better camera, the blogs are saying that the 8 is going to be more than just a little bit better, it is in many ways revolutionary with a screen to edge design, possibly with a curvature, and other new features. I have a 6s and I am waiting.

I like the 6+ but the better half is going to need a new one and I'll give her this and get the 7 otherwise no.

The camera on the iPhone 7S is amazing.  It also doesn't seem to accidentally put the phone on mute when your cheek touches the screen. Also, they do have an earbud that comes with it, and it is really comfortable to use.

Oh!  And a battery charge will get me through an entire day!

My iPhone 6 plus is 2+ years old now and does everything I want or need. I went from the 4s to the 6+ and could not be happier. I typically skip a generation on upgrades since the next generation (for the most part) is usually incremental upgrades. The new iPhone that is being released next fall sounds interesting...I will check it out then and consider upgrading.

Tony and Suzanne Marriott, Associate Brokers - newer technology and we stay current is the only reason I'd upgrade. (And you jumped from 4 to 6 - so might as well wait for!)

I have had an iPhone and did not like it ... largely because I have been a droid user for so many years.  I was supposed to get a new Google Pixel phone but that does not look like it is going to happen - issues with poor customer service.  So the search for me continues.

I started with a 4 then a 5 then to my present 6Plus. I don't think there is a "compelling" reason to upgrade. I will wait until something with less problems comes along.

According to the Apple rep with whom I spoke when I thought of doing this, he said, "Definitely not." The only real difference I could see was a clearer image quality. If the 6+ isn't good enough for your images, the 7 sure won't be either. :)

Not sure the eye can even tell the difference.

Sorry, I don't have an iPhone.  As a techie, I have not seen any compelling reason to upgrade to the 7, aside from the "I gotta have the newest flavor" factor.  Apple seems to be releasing new phones every year or so now, so you'll be outdated soon enough.  The tech blogs I saw didn't feel that there was a compelling reason to upgrade (referred to it as a lack-luster release).

Like Ken said, the 4K camera is good.  If you want the best camera, get the Google Pixel phone.  Independent third party reviews rated it THE BEST camera on the market (in a phone).  Better than the 7.

I have iPhone 6 and was going to get the 7, because of the improvement of the camera, BUT since the 8 is coming out next year and my 6 is working great, I may just wait.  I just have not really decided. I have plenty of memory, so really, I don't have a compelling reason right now not to stick with the 6.

Yes, I have the 6 plus, not the 6 S Plus, so that means my phone is two plus years old and ready for an upgrade, plus my plan allows it. Perhaps you actually got the 6 S Plus in which I wouldn't upgrade already?!
