I don't think that function is available but I have done quite well with a "simple ignore".   On ActiveRain and more importantly, in real life.  

Great question, never thought about, but it would be a good idea.

They do not have it. I've had to write that particular person to never view or comment on my site.

It might be time for that feature but for spammers I'm sure there's a better way.

You do not have to be a follower to be able to view someone else's blog so that may not be helpful. Over the years, I found out about many people who were checking in on my blog regularly but weren't "official followers". Some of them were agents in my market place trying to figure out how to make socal media work for them. 

Use the report feature if you have a problem with comments.

I am not aware of such a feature on AR.

I don't think this feature is offered. I seem to remember reading a comment that Bob Stewart made about the need for it and that it's not likely to be something we would ever be able to do. I think it would be useful.

I'm not aware of that ability.  You can go to your followers list and probably delete them.

There are so many distractions in a day. Let them all come & go without you

It would be nice to have a block feature. The good thing it is rare but i have had those that have nothing good to say and one even not wanting to share when asked, a great idea that everyone could have benefited from. 

There is no such feature - if there were I would be blocking duplicate question posters all the tme

I can see doing that as a "statement", but the way AR is set up, ANYONE can look at our blogs, unlike Facebook where you have choices who can see what.

Don't know. If they are "benign"; should be okay.

I never had any issues. If I see a spam, I simply report it. 

It has been a feature that has been approached many times, not likely to happen though.

So far, I like most of my followers!  And I don't really dislike anyone enough to block them.

That would be a nice feature

I've never had anybody be mean that was following me. Actually, I can't remember anybody being mean that doesn't. Having said that, might be useful if we could unplug people if we needed to. I would be more in favor of just having a mute button. Till then, I just unplug myself. LOL
