we've never had a problem with know and tube as long as the cloth is not frayed and the ceramic interruptors where in good shape....
maybe a local institution who may hold some of their loans in-house...

Thanks for the great response. I will follow up with those specific companies as well as check all companies listed to do business with the Texas Department of Insurance (that the buyer has not already talked with). Once I have it solved I will post the solution for all.
If you are not familiar with knob and tube wiring done in the 30s and 40s you might look it up on Google just to get an understanding of what it is.

I suggest you contact a licensed Texas insurance broker or whatever they are called in Texas since they should be familiar with those types of issues. One located in the Heights area or other areas with knob and tube wiring may have encountered such issues.
