Used TP years ago.  Didn't need it.

I used them up until about 4 years ago when I switched to Market Leader. I felt like they weren't growing and offering the services I needed at the time.

TP is so lame it's laughable. There are so many better products now. I gave up on them when the cost outweighed the benefits. 

I've used Top Producer as a CRM for donkey's years.

Peter Mohylsky - I'd say, it's a robust CRM. I 'pay' for it - don't use it as much as I should.

I do not.  I've heard of Insight.ly as more of a general purpose CRM.  I remember TP from back when they started.  They were super expensive, difficult to learn and not that great.  The product demos always seemed more of a "con job" to me.  That was enough to sour me on them for life.

We had Top Producer back in the day of floppy discs. They were so annoying back then with their security and license protection to the point that it hindered us being able to do business. The back ups were the most cumbersome task ever outside of old school video production. We stopped using them. Then we tried one more time when they went to the cloud but the interface is not very mac friendly or intuitive so we finally left for good. 

Nestor uses daylite for mac and our team uses Market Leader for our CRM. 

The learning curve on TP is to long, to much nickle and diming, and is exception based.

My suggestion is:

1. If your marketing is going to be refocused on contemporary dynamics you should look into SugarCRM

2. If your marketing is to remain traditional, I suggest WiseAgent.

It'a great if you need a lot of bells and whistles. I prefer simplicity so I use Realty Juggler at $99 a year. Does all I need it to.

Salesforce. I like it. But it is a very time consuming to set it up. 

Have used TP for 17+ years.   Could not do without it.

I've never used TP. Depending on what someone needs from a CRM, there could be other options. I have seem where a person / small business can create a custom CRM that fits what they need using gmail and a few add-ons. Check out gmail w these add-ons. Boomerang, ActiveInbox, and writethat.name  

a few in my office use top producer.... I never used anything....  and still made it to the top of the pack...

I used top producer but I felt it took more time to enter the information than the siple way I was doing it

I have in the past when it was required costed $40/month.

I know many that like it, I always found it too pricey.
