I have tried a less expensive lens attachment and was not happy with the result. The camera on my phone does a fine job.

My iPhone 6S+takes great pictures and I don't have external lenses for it, but I have heard great things about them.

Nope, but I've heard they are pretty lame also. Just get a good camera or pay for a photographer.
Think about it Jerry, it's like strapping on a nose to your camera.

Jerry Newman I've seen this lens attachment advertised all over the place. Sounds like a lot of hype.

I tested the iPhone zoom lens, but didn't find it added that much and it's pricey.

The quality of those clip on lenses is very poor and the end result will reflect that fact. Better to use good equipment in the hands of a trained photographer.

I have wondered about them... they sound good... but I still prefer my Canon for photos...although my phone takes good pictures! whole new world!

I got a lens attachment, and it did not work as well as my real camera.

Jerry Newman - looks like '7' is not so lucky! iPhone 7 did not take off as much as expected (I think) - and so is 'burning' Note 7 from Samsung!

Yes, I did that with my last iPhone 4S. Had a telephoto. It came with a case to use to attach the lens. But if you had another case you preferred to use - then it was a hassle swapping. But will have to see if there is a case can use for my iphone 6 and still use the lenses that way.
Probably the best lens for RE sales would be a wide angle lens. You can get better inside shots that way. The iPhone cameras are pretty good. So if you use your camera on your phone a lot, then just keep the lens with you in a little pouch. It would be as good as many point and shoot digital cameras.
The newer ios (operating system for iphones/ipads) has a built in editing program for photos that is pretty darn good. Most people don't seem aware of it though. Will try to do a post on it later... most photos could use a little quick editing!!

I think the phone does a great job. I have seen those upgrades, and was not impressed, but check it out for yourself, it just my opinion. The latest upgrade for the iPad camera has a zoom feature, which is neat. I tried it. A

No Jerry but this an excellent question. I would hope Bob Stewart features it. This has the potential for very good advice.

Hi Jerry - I had a good set - tele, macro and wide angle - that was a title company giveaway at an event, but I can't use it on my new phone because the protective phone case won't let the lens attach.

I did buy the lens and applied it to my iPhone.
The results were awful. Got that out of my system.
Cameras are better today, but the lens attachment is not better.
I would compare the image quality to GoPro2. Completely unsuitable for real estate, and certainly interior images.
The Samsung 7 Note has an EXCEPTIONAL camera. However, it comes with other baggage.
The iPhone7's low light feature may be the solution.

There has been a few AR blogs on the iPhone 7 camera already(Shueh+iphone 7 etc.)
A dual lens stereo lens is in sample production status. The camera and chip is developed here in Silicon Valley. Zoom is always through software-too pricey to use variable focus length lens.... iPhone 7 zoom is not very good in tele photo image wise.

Good question Jerry! I haven't seen any in use but know they exist. Of course their content always looks great in the commercials. I thought they were much more than a $100 for the iPhone version and all seem to be gimmicky in how they're mounted.

Not me but what I would love to have a zoom feature on my iPhone. I still have to carry a camera for those types of shots.
