Years ago, I fired a secretary and refused to allow her to remove her personal information/e-mails from my company computer. She threatened to sue me.  Really? Anything that is on a company computer belongs to the company.

Hilliary decided to pay $160K to set up her own server, not just a personal e-mail, so that her crooked life could remain a secret.  When it was subpoenaed, she decided to use bleach bit and make it all disappear...and some are worried about Trumps ego?

The government has already read my emails, listened to my calls, tracked my movement on my car & phone GPS and watched me through my web cam. THey were bored as hell. So no, why bother? 

Florida requires records to be kept for atleasst 3 years, after that I would still keep digital copies of everything. With so much technology these days why not protect yourself.

The precedent has already been set --- you simply wipe everything clean, and when asked why, you say "I can't recall..."

Authorities will say "ya know, you shouldn't have done that, but you don't really deserve any punishment".  I'm sure that's how it would work for all of us.

Please don't get me started. It looks like where Hillary is involved all the laws and ramifications have been thrown out the window. The bigger question should be WHY.

I don't think you can permanently destroy them. There is a place somewhere that they reside. And yes there would be ramifications mostly that you are guilty as charged.

We have to keep records for 7 years.  There is only one person in the public eye who was able to delete and bleach 33,000 + emails and get away with it.  Oops!  I said it. 

No only the government officials can delete evidence and not go to jail...

I don't think the government has the right to see my personal email accounts and I might just delete them before they can gain access to them.

I would provide the emails related to  what was specifically requested.

IF that request was for "ALL" then it's time to call my attorney. No fishing allowed.

I have heard of people using the "Hillary" defense on traffic tickets and some court cases.  Definitely sets an interesting precident.

Everything you do leading up to a subpoena is important & everything you do after is equally as well. Burning or shredding docs makes you guilty of only that. Turning over everything gives access to the smoking gun. The fifth amendment, which gives you a right to not incriminate yourself is relevant but suspect if you are running for the President of the Unite States

You must be talking with Hillary.  Absolutely NO do not destroy or delete any inormation that the government might be interested in.  Be good not bad.

Depends on who you know in the decision making area.

I believe we are required to keep everything - especially if we know there is an audit. And our emails and documents could be used to support our position.

That's what I actually thought. We have to keep stuff for 7 years & that's it no matter what happens. 

We know it & don't have a legal license.
