It depends on the client.  It seems like a crap ton of time. Between attending inspections and all of the follow up and follow through ... a lot of time. Mostly it is time on the phone.

It varies quite a bit. There have been some that I have hardly seen once we were under contract, other than that inspection, until the walkthrough, but with lots of emailing, texts and call.  A couple of recent ones I have spent several hours with in person. So overall lots of contact but in different ways

Depends how "needy" they are.  I attend the inspection with them and then stay in weekly contact re: what to expect next.  Every once in awhile there is that one who is texting, emailing, and calling what seems like incessantly....

Nope, don't do handholding in person. Makes for too needy of a client. I am firmly not their mother but help them at every opportunity. I'm always there to troubleshoot or bounce ideas off of.

At my business maturity level I realized I can't do that.

It depends on the client.  Obviously some require more than others.   The home inspection and follow-up is likely to be face-to-face but other "meetings" may be by phone or even email.  It's definitely not one-size-fits-all.

Almost none, as almost all of our clients are either out of state or out of the country. We do everything that needs to be done pretty much without them.

However, next month we are going on our third vacation with a danish couple that are former clients who have become our close friends.

very circumstancial.  First time buyers need some hand holding.  Seasoned buyers I see at the inspections if they attend, at the walk though and cloing.  We either chat, text or email other things.

Every client is different and every project is different.

Some clients call daily, some only communicate when one of us has something to talk about.

Some projects require data or updates daily, others we just submit the report at the end.

I am not real big on calling them just to tell them that I don't have any news to tell them.

My time and theirs is too valuable for that kind of handholding.
