Because I have a set goal per week and I can accomplish my weekly goal with 2 hours dedicated to prospects and sold clients for referrals (from closed clients) and or conversions (prospects). I have other goals and tasks which require the rest of the day. Average day at work 9-10 hours, Mon-Sat.

5 hours a day, 5 days a week!  During those 5 hours, I may be phoning them or meeting them face-to-face or breaking bread with them.  Any way you slice it, 5 hours a day has to be devoted to prospecting for me!
