the only person I've ever taken any direction from via her courses online is Nestor & Katerina Gasset (Katerina).... she's an SEO expert and "offers it all" via many different courses...the first that I enrolled in back in 2010 was SEO To The Top....now I'm in Fast Track Seo to the Top....and Listing Experts Academy....she's truly the best....the cream of the crop.... the cream always rises to the top, and that's where you'll find Katerina....

Those scammers need to be paid for results, like agents are!  

Happily, not I. I've never believed in that fairy dust. I use my internal web guys that are being paid to do more than just SEO and are team members who rely on my success to keep their jobs; I rely on the power of Active Rain's SEO juice too.

Too many - seo experts are a dime a dozen, those that know what they're really doing?

There is a sucker born every minute. Do not spend the money and do it yourself.

I get free information on SEO on active rain.

Avoid the scammers.

I've heard of far too many.

I have not seen any statistics on this issue.

I hear offers every day and laugh at them.

Fortunately they never got me...

First call I received, their service sounded great.  I never buy on the first contact.  After checking out companies I decided not to do business with them.   I'm getting lots of calls lately. 

I know, I use to get lots of calls, but I blocked them so not so much any more.

Don't know. But at least I'm not one of them.

Seo is constantly changing and is continuos part of website maintenance. i don't get scammed because the scams are easy to recognize.

Probably too many, unfortunately.

There are services that can direct & hold certain traffic. There are many more that say they can but don't. You get what you pay for & results don't lie

Someone took a class frm the AR owners he thinks knowing the owner will have an edge to get his blog on first page.

I get those calls all the time, but I know how they do it and I can do better with my blogging and other social media.

Not for SEO results but for other services.  There is a lot of information here in the Rain ... I've learned so much. I don't pay for SEO or leads. It's all organic ... it works. 

I have an idea...  SEO companies should work on a commission-only basis, like most Realtors.   When my website shows up on Page 1 of Google and Bing,  then I will pay the SEO "expert". 

Let's see how many SEO experts are still around if that becomes the dominant business model.

I had a local fellow in my town wanting to pitch his services but he did not have a track record and his services were very expensive. I want to see results and talk to people that believe in it before I bite.

I spent money on it one time and will never do it again.

Many years ago ( just after Al Gore invented the Internet), we tried an "SEO expert" and quickly cut him lose.

Nothing surprises me anymore... and it seems there's a "scam" a day whether SEO related or something else.
