I don't mow my own! Nor do I clean houses, manage pools or anything else that a Seller needs to be in charge of!

Depends on situation. My short sales I do pay for a gardner if client has no funds. I usually know through conversation whether it will be an issue.

As for  other clients since I work in the luxury market,  it's rarely an issue.

It's in the seller's best interest.  If they don't keep it maintained, they dont' get the full market value.

I refer them to my landscaper who gives excellent service and rates.

I've done the odd chore for a client because it was expedient but, no, I would not take over lawn care, house cleaning, and stuff like that. If these things need to be done, I would recommend someone licensed, bonded, etc.

I've referred for lawn care services for listings that are either vacant or simply need attention.  I have shoveled snow before for a client --- sometimes we have to do what we have to do simply because it's right.

If it needs to be done I make sure it is done on time, then pass the bill on to the client.

hell no....I hire to have MY grounds landscaped.... I'll have my landscaper do it, but the bill will be sent to the homeowner!!!  their choice....mine landscaper or another....but never me!!

I've done it when the sellers are elderly, in assisted living, or out of the area. i would also hire a local senior citizen when needed. He would mow lawns up to 1 acre in size for $30.00

Only once my hubby and I went to take care of someone's lawn. It won't happen again. From now on, if it's necessary, I'll refer a lawn mower expert.

If when I list a home it needs to be done I send someone by to take care of it.

I don't even mow my own lawn, definitely not going to mow my clients lawn.  I will call a lawn service on their behalf.

I don't even mow my own lawn. If needed, I will assist in finding a lawn service. 

I would never expect an agent to step up and mow a lawn, but I can completely understand the motivation for an agent to do so. Not their responsibility, but I won't knock someone for doing what needs to be done to make a sale. 

No...I quit mowing my own lawn about 10 years ago!  I promote the entrepreneurial spirit by hiring a landscaper - for myself, not a client.

Hahahaha, yeah, NO.  I am happy to provide referrals for a lawn care service but at the end of the day, they own a house and are responsible for ALL maintenance. 

I have provided the names of gardening services but I have yet to mow a client's lawn.   

It is outside my area of responsibility. I would offer to manage hiring a service to take care of yard maintenance for which the seller would pay for.

Paul, I'm lucky to get to my own lawn as often as needed.  The only time it came up for me was a seller needing a referral for lawn care.  Found someone and got them in touch with each other.  But that's as far as my involvement will go.  Bill

Outside my skill set, but I'll recommend landscapers if needed.

I don't mow my own lawn... why would I mow someone else's lawn? Seriously? What next... should I clean their house, too?  I provide contact for them to hire someone for lawn care while home is on market till it closes.

I help where summoned or if I want to give over & above.

Everything, house clean up, dusting, staging, inspection, photography, staking signs.

The garderners are the hardest people to get them to commit. Manana no show.

I can refer my clients to various service providers.  I don't mow my own lawn, let along someone elses'.

I have shoveled snow for a client, but thankfully haven't had to mow a lawn yet. I guess it's easier to schedule mowing a yard with a lawn service. Snow is unpredictable. 

I had high end property a few years back.  It was dduring the slowest time of the real estate fiasco.  They were going out of town and asked if I would or at least find someone.  I wasnot real busy and I did the lawn myself.  I was rewarded nicely and sold the home.  They were alsogrpeat clients and had sent several referrals to me.   I could not leave them hanging.

Paul I don't believe I have ever mowed a lawn and I'm quite certain I don't want to start that now. I also don't do yard work. My landscape guys do a great job for us. As for clients.....never. That is their job  to maintain the property .....OR if needed, I would ask our landscapers to do the yard if sellers are out of town.

Nope, I never had a pleasure and probably never will. Most people have garden service provider who cleans/trims once/week( around $100/month)

Since I am not competent in field of lawn maintenance, home maintenance or house cleaning I simply refer those chores to the experts.
