I'mbasically running a paperless office which used to be a constant battle for organization.  I'd say I'm very organized and  attribute that to my CRM, scanner and my assistant but not necessarily in that order.  I can't work in chaos so I always try to stay organized.

I am not organized at all. I am trying to get better, and everytime I clear up my desk I say it will stay that way...

My office assistance. Casey is great and helps me out all the time. She even comes into my office and sees a pile of my stuff and offers her help. 

My file cabinets (yes, there still is some paper), plastic bins to store stuff in the garage, checklists for the business. And there's the reality I am not as organized as I could be and I am not going to obsess about it.

Yeah, no.  I'm not organized.  I live in chaos. 

Everything in its place.  Learned organization from my mother who was very organized.  When I cleaned out her kitchen I remembered whereeach item had been when we were kids growing up.  

Technology is a bit more challenging as it keep changing

At home I use clear plastic bins and drawer organizers. At work I use colored file folders and put my files and documents in Dropbox. Very helpful.

My brain.  That reminds me -- time for some much needed maintenance.  

It starts with my brain ... the main tool.  From there I determine what will be the best solution for what I am organizing.  I love a clean and well organized life.  My brain does not work well with clutter.

Well, I am using MS Outlook calendar to keep me organized.

Thank god for computers to keep me on track.

I found having very little to organize works best for me.

Sometimes its good to re-organize..my closet- twice a year, our pantry etc..once a year. Baskets in the garage and clear plastic bins (so I can see what is there) help tremendously. I like things organized thank goodness so does Gene!

It depends on what I am organizing.

In business, my most important organizational tool is  Google calendar which works as my to-do list and helps keep us in sync with each other.

I have no such tool.... my closets, etc. are alway in order. So much so, that my husband takes guests on tours of my closets.

One good way to be organized is to put things in the right folder/ drawer, or bin immediately and not let it pile on your desk.

I make a place for each thing I intend to find later (keys, receipts, etc) and then I always put the thing where it "lives".  Deep regrets if I don't bother.  I keep a smallish drawer as my place for "important things I must not lose" (like the school trip form, car renewal notice, etc).  Then it doesn't have to stay in the open, and I know where all the important things can be found.  It really works for me.  

I also kept a tiny notebook labelled  WHERE IS IT?, in which I recorded the home I had selected, to make sure I could remember where I squirrelled things away.  I was very good at making a home for things, and less good at remembering the location!  Oddly enough, it wasn't a stupid idea.....  :  )

I am quite organized... except my garage.  It is my nemesis.  No matter how hard I try, it just won't stay organized!!!
