Scam is scam. Fraud is fraud. Delete and move on. I wouldn't even respond as you don't know what they might do once they have your email address as valid.

One possibility - they want your bank account to "wire a deposit" for when you find the house. 

BTW, I live in a University town.  Everybody here has a PhD.  Everybody is a "Dr.".    It doesn't necessarily mean medical doctor.

The very least of this is they verify a working email address if you respond. Scams come later when they sell the address on the open market. The best of this? You have a busy doctor wanting someone to jump in. Realistically, why wouldn't they go with a recco from a friend, neighbor or associate?

The red flags are Dr and no phone # ; how they find you or referral name.

In our area, physicians can not afford above avg priced homes. They do not make enough to get adequate mortgages. May be two physicians wage.

The word is out, real estate agents can be fleeced.

Just think of all the money we could have it we even got just a nickel!

I got a different letter from Anne tonight. Avoid this one. 

Maybe the scammers think that calling themselves Doctor will give them gravitas that could trick us into answering back!

These are so ridiculous. The thing is they must be getting bites or they wouldn't continue doing this.

No one says "family residential home" in the real world.  Someone pulled words from a real estate book for a scam.  Frankly, I'm shocked they didn't say "single family residential home".
