I have an excellent BS-meter... has rarely failed me.

Trust but verify.   And thoroughly.   

Yup! I can just feel it and sense it.

My truth meter does not work well with females, some can B.S. me all day long!

YES.  When they "dance" around a direct question and do not answer it. They either don't know or they are hiding something. Usually the truth!

    Talked to a guy yesterday, nothing he said was credible... I had to put on knee-high wading boots it was getting so deep.

Hi Debbie - After a while in the business, I developed a pretty finely tuned BS meter - correcting for my own wishful thinking was a big step.

I'm pretty good at it, most of the time.

The older I get, the more fun I have with outright asking them if they're BSing.

I'm a perpetual rose-colored-glasses wearing pie-eyed optimist and never doubt anyone. It's my biggest fault.

My spider sense is pretty darn accurate and serves me well.

My skeptical vision is always 20/20

Very accurate! That said, not 100%!

I can usually tell the BS'ers from the others.... 

That's where we go out and find the truth independently. If it's our client doing this, that spells trouble for the relationship.

I think it is much more accurate than when I was younger.  I tended to be very naive and trusting.

Not always Debbie Reynolds.  I tend to believe what I hear the first time around.  Though once I find out that someone did not tell me the truth, and their comments were BS, my Trust Meter goes down for them, and I tend to question any future statement that sounds even remotely off-key. 

i am very transparant , people can read me..but..i can read them as well... i dont deal with those people if i have any choice. to answer the ? , very accurate

Wonder about some people sometimes.

I tend to believe people until it's totally obvious that they are pulling my leg.  And I think that has served me better in life than always being on the lookout and assuming everyone I encounter is a BSer waiting to happen. 

Yes..I can usually tell right away. Trust your instincts.

I don't think mine is set properly! LOL! It's hard for me to pick up on the BS.

However, we should understand that we may never have the full story in many situations. As some will say, all of God's children have problems.

Yes, I do. But you can not spot it all the time. For example, I'm very bad with those who need something from you claiming they have no agent just to get the information or a showing.

My truthmeter is just about 90% accurate when meeting someone new.  Just ask my wife!

I pretty much take people at their word until/unless they do something to earn disrespect.

I have a pretty good BS meter, although I'm also a very trusting person. I'm involved with a situation now with a client that really took advantage and he's had his hard times, but I'm still working with him. My BS meter is thinking about going into the red. 

Early in my career I was gullible.  Today I can smell it a mile away.  

The smell test usually works well; develops with age and experience.

Mine is spot one! Rarely has not worked!

Most of the time but I have seen people that are such good lairs that they even believe themselves.

I sense it and then ask Ron if he sensed it also...and then we give them the benefit of the doubt...more often then not we are right.  A
