I usually do however sometimes I have absolutely nothing to say or if it's a tad controversial I may or may not.  Depends on my time and my mood! LOL

It's kinda like a compulsion with me Peter Mohylsky I figure if I'm going to take the time to read a post I should take the time to acknowledge it one way or the other. 

No, some have too many answers, some are firestorms of controversy on topics I don't care about; I comment on what I feel strongly about or am amused by and I'm willing to debate if challenged; otherwise I read an move on. So,  feel honored if I comment on yours  see what I did there.

If i read the blog, i leave a comment, even to just let them know i was there or to expand the discussion

Usually I do leave a comment.  Some questions I don't have an answer but I will "like" other answers.

Nope, not always. Sometimes, when the question has received many great and similar answers I won't. Sometimes I will respond if I don't have time to review all of the answers that were posted. Sometimes, I have nothing to say about it (either I don't know or prefer not to comment) but will read the answers.
