50%. And I think the reason is that people rush in hastily. And it's also too easy to get a divorce. I think people should live together for at least 7 years before they decide to get married.

Interesting question. haven't given this one much thought but I'm guessing the way the world is today, and how Marriage isn't taken as seriously as it once use to be at one point in time...well.. maybe over 50% & climbing...I'm sure it's a high number.

Last I heard it was 40-50%.  The second and third marriage statistics are even more dismal.  Some lessons are hard to learn, I guess.

I would say 50%, but I hear that seniors are the fastest growing segment of the population that are divorcing. I guess after 30+ years, they have had enough of each other.

Very often, once a divorce is completed, the parties involved are destined to repeat the process, multiple times in many cases.

They FAILED to learn the lesson.

What would the rate be is serial divorcees were counted only once. And, they tend to marry each other predestined to fail.

Did you know pre-arranged marriages have a better success rate?

By the way, "What is marriage, today?"
