ActiveRain Spring 2016 San Diego Meetup
The Lighthouse Oyster Bar and Grill was the setting today for the San Diego area Spring Meetup over lunch.
It was a spectacular day, made even better with a gathering of terrific AR guys (for some reason the women who were invited couldn't make it! Did we do something wrong???) on the deck overlooking the Oceanside harbor and marina.
Joining me and co-host John Arendsen were Bill Roberts , Jon Kolsky all the way from Long Beach in Orange County, our neighbor to the north, and Thomas J. Nelson, Realtor . While I had met everyone at least once or more, it was especially cool since not everyone knew everyone else, and now they do!
Yeah, there was a little talk of real estate, but mostly all sorts of other neat stuff - Zillow, Trulia, solar power, acid rain, fusion, global warming (or not), tsunamis, a little about family, vacations, with some good laughs about Siri. OK, you had to be there. It's fun to get to know people outside of their real estate personas!
And of course there was some chit chat about ActiveRain AND talk about "oh how we wish we could have RainCamps IN PERSON again" (take the hintt Bob Steward and Ben Kenny !).
And the food was pretty good, too (loved my Ahi Poke Tacos)!!
It's a honor to consider these gentlemen, fellow bloggers, and real estate professionals to be good friends, knowing that if there were a need a phone call is all it would take. Until the next time!
