Well, I don't have a MAC and I have no idea what a Blue Yeti is, so can't be of much help here.

I like the snowflake. It was designed by Apple.

I don't use a Mac so am not sure what brands work for your equipment. I'd google for reviews, not just on Amazon but on electronic forums associated with audiophile sites and tech sites.

The BLUE series you got is a good mic! As long as you're not trying to sound like Axel Rose, I wouldn't let someone else talk you into buyer's remorse. That's solid equipment

No help here ... I don't have a MAC. You have some good responses here.

I would contact www.lacolorpros.com -- they have a line of microphones and related professional camera/video accessories too. Tell Taky I sent you --- if he can't help you he can likely give you some viable options. His customer service is excellent.

Curtis,
I’m an audio engineer and voice over talent. A top choice in the industry is the AudioTechnica AT2020 USB+ . Be sure you get the USB+.

I'm in the market too, been looking at Blue Yeti as well, it had great reviews compared to most in the $200 range. Which model did you get? What was the counter advice? As a DJ I always used Sure & Sennheiser with great success in sound & performance. They are who I'm exploring as well.
