We have a HUGE problem with that! Our MLS is looking into fixes. In my area we still have so many remote parcels and recent lot splits that maps can't find.
With normal residential, there's no excuse and it definitely deserves a whack with a barbed wire paddle.

Not in Denver, and I don't think many even look to see if the pin is in the right place!

It's not uncommon for the MLS to map things incorrectly. And it's not that the property address is wrong but an issue with the mapping function. But then you see that on Google maps on occasion, too

Our MLS does the mapping by address so if it's a violation then it's up to them to fix it.

I don't pay attention to directions on MLS. Some folks don't know the right from their left.

Yes it is.  Hard to prove and some people still do it.  I didn't report the one I've seen.  Not worth my time.

If it is I am not aware of it, but then again we just changed MLS software in March.

Worded differently, "It it the agents responsibility to troubleshoot, report and create a work around for malfunctioning software services imposed on the agent?"

Lazy agent some think. What they fail to understand is when everyone does the workaround (save the MLS bunns) the work around become a feature the agent now must use.

We can report the incorrect location to the board which owns the MLS.  Sometimes the default location provided by the MLS is wrong so they will fix it.

no, and I really don't use the mapping on the MLS.  My site IDX (I pull the RETS feed) has it's own mapping from the address and I use it and can adjust if it's off.
