I have never reported a post or comment. I just ignore and move on.

Yes.   I think profanity is inappropriate, unnecessary and unacceptable !   I did report it so MY agents and clients are not exposed to it.   That reflects poorly on ME and I don't think that person has the right or the authority to be damaging MY reputation.   That's MY job if I so choose. . . . . . And I don't !

Spams yes, I have seen posts in Spanish, and I think that is wonderful.  There was a global real estate site, where posts could be translated into several languages,, and I thought that was wonderful  If the audience is there, that is great.  A

Peter, I did report those London massage posts because they had very suggestive pictures for the poster  which, in my opinion, had no place on a real estate web site.

Some good came out of it when they spilled over to the Q/A section with a picture of a person sucking a female breast.  There was no way to directly report this at the time.  Right after that a REPORT  button was added to the Q/A section and then after that it was added to the blog posts.  So some good came out of it as there was a direct way to report questions/posts that were in clear violation of the guidelines of AR.

I have reported obvious spam and I once reported an incredibly offensive joke that was posted, although I was confliced about that one because I was tempted to leave it alone and let everyone see what an offensive boor the poster was.

I actually just reported an escort service that posted with a photo on someone else's question.

The foreign language posts - I usually translate to see what they say, and I've never seen any one that has anything to do with real estate or a related industry. Most of them are paragraphs repeated over and over again.

I have reported comments, but never a post.  Not sure about the foreign posts. 

We have reported several posts when encountering those who do not belong based on their attempts to scam.

I've reported several spammer posts and comments.  The obvious ones "Watch the soccer match live on www.I'll Infect Your Computer.com"

Foreign language ones, I don't report... simply because I can't read them!  This is an english language site based in north america, so the SEO juice for arabic and indian pages really isn't there.  But I don't report them since they're not violating any regs.

I report CRAP all the time. As I mentioned to Roger D. Mucci in my comment on a post he wrote, I have no control over what AR staff does with the reported CRAP.  

Had reported a gay porn type of picture posted by a AR millionaire recently, no nudity, but was suggestive.

I have reported posts and comments that were not in keeping with the community subjects, which I know are broad.  Then AR can make a final determination.  

I have seen foreign language posts and I wish I had that ability to write in more than one language.... Nestor & Katerina Gasset often do one in english and one in another language (Spanish??? ).... that's the only way to market to another group of people who are not fluent in English....target marketing and wise marketing.....  alot can be learned from that dynamic duo.... take a step back and watch what they do.

I used to report spam posts until one of the spam posted somehow redirected me outside of the AR site.

I know at least a couple of longtime AR bloggers write some posts in foreign languages (Spanish, possibly Chinese).  I don't have any issues with that.

I have not had to except some blatant spam selling sneakers and another with escorts

I have seen some blogs in Spanish and they were appropriate for the market.

I have reported a couple of post that were spammy.  Fortunately, most on Active Rain seem to follow the community rules.

The other day i reported a question  that broke the coe. Nothing happened.
