I don't receive faxes.  When asked why, I say

"They're not available where I live".

"Where do you live?"

"In the 21st century!"

About five minutes ago !   I'm working on files this afternoon due to the less than optimum weather outside today.   I use whatever communication method works for MY client.

I got a fax on Friday from a vendor. I later found out that they now use email.

Only when involved in the short sale market.  I keep an EFax number only for that reason.  Seems like banks, lenders and relocation companies are the only ones still working in the last century.

Don't even remember.

I don't send faxes as part of a real estate transaction unless I have a client who doesn't use email well, but has a fax machine. I receive faxed documents numerous times over a year in relation to a real estate transaction.

within the past month.  Had a client who could not figure out e-sign and so they faxed signatures back.

Msny lenders in short sales still require them....so  the short answer is

It kind replaced by EQUATOR and RESNET.   My home fax does not work it works on analog circuitry.

Yesterday, My client does not hae a computer.  Just over a $300, 000 deal that we would have lost if not able to fax.  It had to be done yesterday if we wanted the property and my clients were not able to come and meet me

I still use fax quite extensively when communicating with certain organizations and individuals.

There is still a time when we do use our fax machine. It's not very often, though. 

I will be receiving one tomorrow from a client who wants to send me one, in lieu of scanning and emailing it. Before that, it has been years.

Yesterday. A mature agent said "I'm so innovative now. I learned how to use my fax machine"...

A lot of our clients here in Delaware don't have scanners to scan several documents at one time. I don't like to receive the ones where they are one page per attachment. So fax is better in that case. A lot of our verifications of employment are received via fax. We have a dedicated line for ours.

Unfortunately, for us, some of our flooring suppliers are very behind in the times and require faxes.

It has been a very long time and I am cracking up at Susan Emo 's answer.  But I still keep my fax line as you just never know when you will need to accommodate someone.

Just recently. I pay $100 for the year and when needed pays for itself. Great back-up and looks, sounds and is still professional (for now)

Unfortunately many relocation companies like things faxed so I do still find the need to fax.

A couple days ago!  Keller Williams demanded my social for tax reporting purposes and they couldn't open my password protected zip file, so I had to rewire my office and send the fax.

Just sent one 2 weeks ago to a bank for an REO.  Don't know why they still insist on fax.

About a year ago.  The listing agent could not see the electronic signature on a contract I sent.  I explained that she was opening the transaction with an IPad and that she needed to use a pc or down load a patch to make it work.  She would not listen to me so finally I printed off the contract an faxed it to her.

I really dislike faxes. The quality of even a second-generation faxed document is terrible.

Last year I had a client that had no cell phone, no computer, no email, and no fax.  I drove a lot during that transaction.  

I sent a fax thru my fancy email copier just this week. Useless.

Yesterday - buyers sent me a POF to my efax

I hated FAX offers.  They were rarely completely legible.

Received? A few months ago. Sent? Years ago. I scan and attach to email, never paper fax for sending now.

it's been a few years since I've seen or heard of anyone in our office using a fax....

Every so often they are needed to receive some piece of documentation.

Cannot remember that far back, but know HUD needed them.
