there is no wasted time....my leisure time during EVERY DAY is important to me.... working out; tanning time; cooking time; etc.... then I work more efficiently....

Seriously, time is more valuable to me than money. But like money, you have to pay yourself first.

I know I personally need to be a better Time Manager Fred Griffin.  I can maximize my time better by keeping a DayTimer and writing down daily tasks and appointments, the night before.  For me, 'wasted time' is when I have to go back over something twice, for whatever reason - HA!

I am looking forward to when the clocks fall back in the fall.  There will be an extra hour to do more things.

I have gone to makin gsure trips are done in bunches when possible.  Living 4 miles one way and 10 miles the other can be a big time waster

I don't have "wasted" time though it may turn out to be unproductive.   All the time the good Lord gives me is precious and I try to make the most of it.

To answer your question though; to expand my productive time, I need to convince the bank to hire another assistant for me and I'm working on that.   My production numbers are UP notably this year and upper management has already noticed and commented as such.

When they ask me the same question, they will get THE SAME ANSWER !

I do have far too many things scheduled into my day and I am noticing that time seems to be refusing to stretch to accommodate the amount of things that i would like to do.

I may have to start eliminating a few things...

Time is so precious, you need to make a list, and be sure to prioritize so the most important is completed.

Wasted time: sleeping, eating.

Hi Fred, I just keep going, lots of diet pepsi/coke.  Not the right answer but it's an honest one.

Standing around for long periods of time drinking coffee with people in the office is wasted time to me. I shut my door and focus and churn out the work and when my work is done I leave. I have very productive days.

The busier I am, the more I get done. Sometimes it's in the morning, sometimes at night. One little thing I need to do can start me going for hours. The only thing I can't then do is stop for food; food slows me right down. I never eat before meetings or negotiations either.

Organize and schedule my task.   Working on this daily.  

Maybe I should spend less time on here.

I must admit to wasting a lot of time on my computer.  It's better to be out there on the streets, either previewing or with clients.

For anything needing or wanting to be done....Make time is all I know

If it makes me happy or is helping me accomplish goals, it's productive.  If not, I try to stay away from it.  The only time I tend to really waste is in the morning on my phone - trying to break that habit

You can not.

The concept of time management is comical, unless you CAN change the rotation of the earth.

But you can manage the tasks you do.

If there are too many tasks, you need to understand the problem YOU.

Basically a fear of losing control. Needing to micromanage. Believing it must be your way or noway.  This is a byproduct of the vanity of mankind, the belief they can control all things. The outcome is stress then cardiac arrest.

So, stop doing the $10 stuff.
