Ginger,
After the housing crisis, the season for buyers and sellers changed.

Ginger Harper - We are in peak season right now here in AZ. Fall is also a heavy selling season for Sedona because of the change of seasons. Where it can slow down in Phoenix in summer because of the extreme heat, it is not as bad in Sedona. The only really slow time is around Christmas. But this last Xmas I had 3 deals in the works and worked right through the season! BTW! NOT Complaining!!

A vacation and resort area like Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia tends to be seasonal by nature but we have our year round off water community too. I use the slower time of the year to update and distribute local marketing materials so my name is on the tip of their lips chatting with visitors

Selling Season is not a part of my lexicon. People buy and sell properties every day.

It used to be more March thru July, but right now is January through December every single day!

We're in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We see a slow down in December and it usually lasts until March. Early in our careers we hated the slow down, but today it's not so bad.

Yes, mid-January to mid-April, but the year round market is gaining momentum!

Sellers often wait to list until the proverbial spring season, but many homes sell in winter, partly due to lower inventory. June/July are often high months.

It is year-round here in Kauai. Snowbirds do buy more often in winter though.

Right now is hot this year. We had a huge inventory sell off last fall but mainly due to few new listings coming on. Spring and early Summer are usually very good and considered the primary season. After a break in late summer the sales seem to pick up again in Autumn and lasts up to winter.

We have a seasonal slowdown from December to around March...depending on the weather and snow amounts.

Not really. It gets a little slower during August and then some between Thanksgiving and New Year's if one looks at averages

We sell in all seasons, and do have a busy season Ginger Harper. It is when more vacationers and snowbirds are in town!
