I HAVE no competition except in the mirror. Quality over quantity. Now, if all our esteemed colleagues would stop feeding the beasts . . .

MY CRM out performs any online lead site. Confident is where I reside with my network.

http://www.davidbarrhomes.com/ Very pretty and fresh like Venice FL sunshine colors and tons of information. (off topic thanks for the Lennar plug on Gran Paradiso)
Does Warren Buffet care that you aren't using the burgundy logo?
Do you use a Berkshire one too?
What are the topic points and key words you find push drive and draw lookers?
love #localisbetter
love the owner financing-- hey but I can do a loan 1 year after BK short sale or foreclosure with 15% down
How often do you update content?
Words or images are best?

Always better to do your own SEO or hire someone to show you how, instead of buying leads.

I am confident enough and I am seeing more and more people complaining about these 3rd party sites so I would say I am winning on some level

All you need to take back the web is to have google invest 10-20 million in your business and then they will have a reason to push it to the top. The serps are not organic anymore, the algorithm only applies to those who are not in the hand picked top places.
Content has nothing to do with how your site shows up in the searches. The search engines can not read and comprehend content, all they can do is match strings of words, and they are not even good at doing that. The phrase 'content is king' is pure FUD.

Yes it can be done but tough to get ahead of those paying for the top spots.

They just called me three times yesterday. I'm good.
I don't have a huge online presence and don't quite understand enough to beat the big three, but I work my database and thrive with social media. I only pay for leads with my time and interaction.
Best of luck to you though!

Good morning David. Actually love to compete, not only with others, but with myself as well.

Sure, why not. The letters have not infiltrated the inspection market - yet!

David, yes I am but I would consider it foolish to not have my listings on there for free. I have gotten several good leads from Z/R recently, all for free. There are tactics that you can do to downplay the paying agents and direct people to you.
What really needs to happen is for NAR to spend our dues money to show the public just how inaccurate zillow is and how so few boards provide data to it. Not that stupid "this house isn't here" cerebral crap they've tried. They need something fact based with the "most desireable" male and female persons presenting.

Long ago (sometime in the late 2000s) had a R.com Showcase Listing Account which threw off about 12 leads (no fee) per listing per month. When it dropped to less than 4 leads per listing, we dropped the Showcase Listing account. Nothing since then. Two different brokers I know here use the "letters" extensively - costs about $1,000 plus the time of the team members to "work" hundreds of leads to get 1 transaction. Not for us thanks. Will be checking out your website.
