Have set off alarms, twice. 

     Today, when I show houses, I tell Buyers beforehand that if an alarm goes off, get in their car and drive away (because that is what I am going to do). 

    I will call the Listing Agent; but I am not going to be interviewed on site by the Police.

     Side note:  unless you have a high-end luxury home filled with priceless artwork, disable the #@$% alarm system while the house is For Sale!

Drove to a client's house, listing contract in hand. Had to drive back to the office 2 times for missing pages. Fortunately for me, the client thought it was funny, and still signed it.
Needless to say, I am a big fan of e-signing.

Drove forty minutes in traffic with my buyer only to realize I didn't have my Sentrilock card.  My client, who turned into a good friend, ribbed me to no end.  Thank God for Cindy Jones  who lived nearby and was there within ten minutes of me calling her for help.

Yes, I remember doing this & the lady of the house kept on watching TV like we were supposed to be there. I scolded her for letting us in after she told us she wasn't selling it was the house next door.

That was really a highlight!

One of the other ones was where I was showing a house & the pet parakeet kept attacking us like it was a pitbull.  I knew that one swat could spell diaster for the parakeet so we were running away from the thing the whole time lol.

I did that also, but I fell off a 6 foot retaining wall face first

keep it clean?? oh my..thats no fun... i didnt do this, but i heard an agent ask if they were looking to get a bigger home because of the baby on the way?? u guessed it.... no baby was coming..just excess ho ho's

I was waiting for a client in one of the high end office buildings to show him office space.  Some guy walked up to me with a painting, and said, oh you are the one I am meeting!  I asked if he had signed in with security, as security was going to open the space.  We got on the elevator and were chatting about art, and he told me that former Pres Reagan loved this artist, and he could not wait to see him.  We both laughed, and I headed back down, and as luck would have it, my client was there...and back up I went with security.  A

I have done the wrong house several times over the years and many times the buyers never knew.

Nothing so far.

I too have pulled up to the wrong home (it was for sale) and called the showing service asking for the RIGHT lockbox code.   Embarrassing!  

Setting off an alarm and saying the security was great while waiting for instructions to turn off the sirens. Two squad cars passed by and did not even slow down! Not a sale! Enjoy your day!

As we were leaving the house I accidently locked the key inside the house.

Touring an "empty" house by appointment and finding a couple in bed... you said keep it clean so I will say no more than that. ;-)

Ashley Sanders - the very first transaction, I had told my buyer to skip the inspection. (And in fact, that turned out to be in my buyer's favor - we got the deal in multiple offer scenario.....)

i have walked into a few homes that were not the correct one.   it was common back in the crazy days of the early 90s.

Just not driving directly to homes and not knowing my way around well.  It was LONG before GPS was popular or affordable and certainly before it was on your phone.

Didn't know my way around and got lost with all the turn arounds. Deserved go be fired. Lost $750k sale.  Never got lost again. 

For me so far it was the time I had troublw with supra. Couldn't get it to work. Took forever! They are standing on porch waiting. 

I walked into a sliding glass door. Ouch!

Sorry, but I tend to block out bad memories.. 

I was previewing Open Houses on a Sunday afternoon in Georgetown and walked into the wrong house.  Guy was sitting at his dining table in his BVD's reading the Sunday Washington Post.  

Got bit by a dog that was not mentioned on the showing sheet.

I walked in to a house while someone was in the shower.  I had called ahead and the house was "show anytime."  Oops!

I got stuck in with some mud while walking a rural property. I went to unstick my foot and my shoe came right off and was still stuck in the mud. 

I had clients following behind me in my car, and my GPS kept putting me on a ramp, taking me off, and putting me back on the same ramp. We must have gone around it 6 times while I was messing with it until we pulled off into a driveway. I was so embarrassed!

My electronic lockbox key wouldn't work. It didn't charge and I hadn't noticed. Took my customers to a coffee shop while I charged my key and about an hour later we were back on track.

Got lost showing property once. I also knocked on the wrong door - it was the house next door and given where the sign was it was hard to tell, but of course the house didn't look anything like the MLS sheet I had

I ran very low on gas and needed to detour to gas up.

I did that, wrong house. Two houses, a few doors apart, same brokerage and agent. 

I didn't do this but an agent showed and wrote an offer on the wrong property that wasn't for sale.  I have said something wrong and have to correct what I say. 

Got completely lost showing homes !(pre GPS)

I can't remember doing anything  embarrassing....and for that I'm thankful!!
