Red wine doesn't last long enough in my house to need any special care. Open and drink.

When it comes to white.... the colder the better for me.  

My father used to insist that wine cellars in castles etc in Europe were much cooler than here and so red wine was meant to be cooler than we drink it in the US- he had lived in Spain for a while so he knew what he was talking about.

well as mike meyers says... as the character fat bastard.... get in my belly! when i drink the stuff,, my belly doesnt care about color or temp :) , we offer wine rooms as an option.. but i  think an unopened bottle is a waste :)

Room temperture for red wine

We have two wine fridges in our home and that's my husband's job to maintain.

"Room" temperature, unless, of course, the room is too hot or too cold.
