the agents for whom I market are all holding open houses this weekend....and they do their own....

I don't do open houses and 99% of the time my clients specifically request that I don't do them.

A colleague and I are hosting one.

I have found open houses to be less than productive in our area. Sure if you do enough of them you might pick up a new buyer client but with average turnout of 4-6 people per open it could take awhile. In our state any agent holding an open house is representing the seller. This restricts the agents ability to lawfully intereact with any prospective buyer clients duing the open house. However you can make arrangements to meet after the open house. I have just come to conclusion there are better ways to use the time.

I quit doing open houses years ago. They just don't work in my market.

With very rare exceptions I don’t do them anymore. Our market is small enough they aren’t needed if a house is ready for sale, staged by Kim Gaston, and has professional photography.

We are going to an open house that is being hosted by one of our clients.  A

None for my listings this weekend.  I host them if we're going to do them though.  No sense giving listing and buyer leads away!  (I've gotten a few good ones recently).

No hosting this weekend but off today to 2 of them with interested buyers who will hopefully want to make an offer

I was suppose to host one this weekend, but my seller was having some painting done.  I told her I had to know by Tuesday if it was going to be ready-I believe it is still in progress.  I'll probably hold off until I know everything is done.

It was sold at Broker tour. Sold to first tour guest now in pending. Just need one visitor.

this is like asking if your a democrat or republican or independent ???  there are firm believers on both sides... i am in the they work party...for generating business

We do our own Open Houses Anthony Acosta (and yes, I am doing one today and tomorrow), though when I first started, I did ask other agents that I knew in our community (who also worked in our office) if I could do their house and they always said 'yes'.  I would then e-mail them a Report of Comments from customers, and always promptly 'thanked them' for the opportunity.  Everyone was very kind to me!
