I don't think it matters what the gender is, what does matter is the determination and client focus. If an agent has that they will be successful. There does tend to be more females in the business now.

It has nothing to do with sex. I have seen hundreds of fantastic female agent who could sell my socks off. I have also seen hundreds of male agents who are real good.

I lost a listing once because I was male because the client thought all agents should be female cuz they had always worked with women.

I took the scientific approach and went to my MLS stats.  The top 10 last year in my MLS were 60% female and the men ranked better as listing agents and the ladies far above in the selling category.  So yes.
