Not at all.  What makes a "friend" on FB?  I've made some real "friends" in the AR community.  AR has been a real blessing for me in many ways.

Yes & no. AR was around before I got involved in FB. I am actually tired of all the whining that goes on. Also too right now, it's bitching about politics. 

I like the fact that I get to learn more things on FB that I'm interested in but that is because I do not necessarily follow 'people'.

More FB friends are also AR friends.

More contact with old friends and distant family. I have more international friends now. 

For awhile there it changed me into someone with ADD. Now it's just there.

I don't think it has changed me.  I don't have anymore out of state friends than before.

before I became active with my facebook page, I had a few hundred friends...now I have new ones every week..... 

Facebook hasn't changed me but it certainly has changed the concept of "friend".

I have friends here, there and it seems everywhere.   

The one social media outlet that has meant more to me has been ActiveRain.

It's make it fun to keept track of my gigantic extended family.

Hasn't changed me.  Haven't been on in a couple days either.

I don't think FB has changed me at all. It has enabled me to reconnect w/ many friends across the country.

It has connected me with old lost friends from all over the world, even family members I hardly knew.

I have alot of friends in and out of state. I think Fb has allowed me to see different sides of issues and to open my mind to some things I may not have thought about or experienced.

Yes FB and other SM has broadened our world, I now have friends to visit all around North America.

And it has allowed us to reconnect with old friends who we may have lost otherwise.

It has helped me reconnect with long distance friends and family.  

Luckily we can put everyone into categories or would miss what is happening with my clients.    With so many "friends" the page gets pretty busy.

When I graduated high school in 2007, I had no idea what facebook was. However, I moved to New Orleans for college in August of 07, and it seemed to be the major social media platform on that side of the country. I got it then just for my friends there. It didn't really kick off on the west coast where I live until after I returned, and now I use it to keep in touch with everyone pretty much

Many of my Facebook friends are in other countries.

I am active in a number of Facebook groups relating to photography.

Will Hamm I do have many friends out of state on FB.

I do not use fb for business.

Since I keep jumping from State-to-State, yes; more out of state friends.

It hasn't changed me at all. It's just allowed me to reconnect with lots of old friends and stay on top of many of them and clients. But, like Popeye, I yam what I yam!

And many out-of-state AR members are my friend on Facebook.
