A new found appreciation that runs even deeper than before (if that is possible!)  I thought I was going to lose him yesterday in our blizzard.   White out conditions and we need to pull over to remove snow and ice from wiper blades.  They come off in his hands!!!  Transports whipping past him, snow so thick we had to keep clearing our hazard lights to ensure we could be seen.  Cars flipping, 7 car pile ups all around us. It took over 20 minutes to get the miserable things back on and our lives flashed before my eyes at least a dozen times!!   Frightening to say the least!

Zilch- we don't care about Valentines Day.

Nothing. We stopped doing that years ago. We may go out to dinner or we may not. Every day is special with him.

We do "experience gifts" not store bought gifts for all occasions except Christmas. So I planned an evening where I'm here gourmet chef and cook her favorite Italian dish, I clean the house that morning and set the table romantically and cook her a nice dinner which we eat by candle light.

We no longer exchange gifts for Valentine's Day. Being alive and together is a very special gift at our age.

 I took her out to eat at a nice restaurant yesterday morning for breakfast.

I had a beautiful Tanzanite stone we have reset  in a new mounting on a wonderful setting with diamonds (it hd to be resized). And we have chocolate!

We spent the day together visiting new places. Bought a box of sort that will replace our satellite tv & netflix.  Now we have to figure out how to find our few shows. 

Well, since I'm single I'm my significant other.  I bought me the bestest gift ever!  A new gun!  HK USP Expert in 45 caliber.  Wonderful gun.  Got to shoot it today.

not a darn thing.  But hey, I have until the end of business tomorrow right?
