In this regard I'm not a crazy kind of girl... for me it's the usual, lots of repeat and referral business, website leads, sign leads. I know, very boring.

Craziest?  Being me, I guess.  LOL    I never did anything particularly crazy, just a bit out of the boxl at times.   I did the Talking House transmitters for a while.  That was unique in my market, got lots of attention and was effective.  I don't know if they even have them any more.

Good morning Tabitha. There is no such thing as crazy, when it comes to leads that come my way. In my case, it is all referrals and what comes from my blogging efforts.

Tabitha Rector-Richardson I have heard the stories that people go to Home Depot with the stack of their business cards and ask for business.

The strangest one? An agent pulling out her car from parking lot after the open house, bangs into another car. Apologizes to the owner - and brings her business card out to the owner of the other car.

Guess what? She got the business of this person as her buyer!

I ask random people if they know anyone wanting to buy or sell real estate when I'm out.  I once got a listing from someone in the post office line doing that.

I spend time at the local dog park. Today one of the regulars said she wanted to talk with me about buying a house.

Nothing "crazy" but something different, I hung out at a luxury resort and met people staying there who wanted to buy property.

I wouldn't say any of my methods are crazy,  just tried and true.
