Needless to say, we did not buy the home. And buyers liked what I knew about the area.

Very unique scenario Ryan Huggins - Thousand Oaks, CA Hope the buyer is interested enough to write a contract.

My story didn't occur during a showing but still worth a few words.  After picking up my grandson at middle school I told him about a house a few blocks behind his school.  A doctor had murdered his wife in another state, bought a house in Erie with his mistress and buried her body in the basement.  Needless to say my grandson shuttered & wanted to change the story.

It really was a wonderful house.

Open design, great family room, private back yard, wired for security, all the safety devices guarding the pool.

Places where the kids could have fun. One in incubation. 11 months and 23 months. A potential for three boys!

The private back yard, I point out, joins the Starkey Wilderness Preserve. You will be able to see the most incredible wildlife ever, including endangered, rarely seen my others, migratory birds. What a priveledge that will be.

But see were the ground has been turn over by those cypress trees? See those tunnels going through the muhly grass?  Those tell the rest of the story. The torn up ground was created by wild boars. These are vicious critters. The tunnels, they are created by alligators moving from the pond across the street to the marsh in the woods. And of course alwasy present is the rarely seen pack of coyotes  that pray on defenseless house cats. That elevation with all the broken concrete, that will be the hideout for at least a dozen rattle snakes. 

With these babies you have, I want you to be fully aware you must be vigilant.

That is awesome! A LOT of people don't know that commercial tenants within city limits of the 3 municipalities of our County are subject to a 2% lease privilege tax. Lease space just beyond city limits and avoid the tax.
ALSO . . . a few homeowners in a subdivision with special privileges 'seceded' from the HOA and have no privileges. Many think ( and agents have represented in listings) a new owner can apply and be let back in. They can't. LOL

That is very neat Ryan, and have shared issues I had with my I-beam which caused structural issues with my home.  Pulte's 10 year structural warranty was still in effect, and they paid.
