No idea... nothing in this election cycle is what it was before and my crystal ball was cracked quite some time ago. By the same token, I am gob-smacked by the support a Socialist, who honeymooned in the USSR, is getting. I know he'd like to say he's a Democratic Socialist, whatever that is! I've lived in socialist societies... and I'd rather not repeat the experience in my own country, (Off the soap bos now.)

Pray for America.

It is hard to sit and watch as many smaller states decide who our candidates will be, and by the time our primary rolls around in May the candidates have already secured the nomination.  I would be in favor of a national primary where all the states vote and decide on the same day to avoid this non-ending circus.

Sitting here in NH not at all. It has been a circus to say the least. What the news media does not tell is people hated Hillary more than loved Bernie. As Hillary professed her love for the prez, people dis liked her even more.

On the GOP side Trump supporters have more passion than anyone, they are upset, there health insurance costs have doubled on average, their hours were cut, there was the working man, blue collar, white collar, there were business owners, there were students, men, woman and children who saw a hope they have not had for 7 years. Is he the best to lead the country, i am not sure. But there is too many other candidtaes splitting the vote to beat him. People only see and hear what the media wants them to, I went to alot of town meetings, meet and greets and what the people think and say does not make it on TV.   The saddest part is barely any Bernie supporters can tell you what Socialism is.

Like many in ActiveRain, when I think of NH - I think New Hampshire and I think of Sharon Tara.

It is a long road to be travelled. Every state has diverse opinions and people are very fickle!

I am with Nina Hollander especially on Bernie Sanders 19th century views.  He has recently accused the financial industries referring to each and everyone of them as crooks.  Since there are over 6 million American working in the industry, I would like to know how he figured that one out.  A

I've always thought our process w/ primaries is backwards, regardless of outcomes.

There is no one state that represents how all of America is

As an outsider, I find it all quite interesting to watch.

They did turn out to vote and that is something that needs to happen in every state.

A small state in the New England area with some fun things to do when there.

I was not surprised. 

It is all fascinating. We are experiencing a tectonic shift. Americans are tired of politics as usual. And we are mouthy little suckers. ;)

Not representative since they show up to vote and most of the U.S. does not.

Interesting outcome for sure, but there is a looooooooooong way to go. Who knows what would/could happen between now and November. 

It is too early to tell.

Still like it, but I am still surprised such a small population and small sample size sends people running home....

My opinions of NH are unchanged.

It will be interesting to see how it develops.... I think people are trying to send a message to DC  they are tired of the do nothing status quo....

I was surprised Kasich came in second behind Trump.  I guess there was a great turnout.

It was a great night!

I think it is too early to tell yet.

They still look like VT upside down.  I'll hold my predictions until after Super Tuesday.

Unfortunately these early votes decide who we can vote for later.  Itseems that a small portion of the country determines who is president.

I don't think NH is representative of the US.  What NH made clear, though, is much of America is fed up with how we've been "led" over the past couple of decades, and we're ready to say "enough is enough" even if it's by going Nuclear with a choice like Sanders or Trump.

This Country is far sicker than I ever could have imagined.

So far, so good. I think, we still have plenty of time to be surprised with present elections turns and twists. 

They did show some excellent understanding of the candidates. On the Democratic side, Sanders is the one with the sincere message; Hillary is in it for herself (plus a history of lying, cheating and failure).  On the Republican side, New Hampshire recognized Kasich as the most rational candidate, but didn't want to give up the Trump theatrics just yet. As for the rest - time to drop out (Cruz- dangerous; Rubio - too much of a puppet; Bush - can't live down bro' [BTW, latter two should be asked about women's rights in the state of Florida]. We might see the brilliant and fabulously wealthy Michael Bloomberg jump in...

Bob Crane Only 11% of the people in this Country approve of what Congress is doing and 41% approve of what the President is doing. Much needed change is needed to turn this Country around.

 It appears as if the voters are sending a message to the Eurocrats on the hill. It is time for a change.
