I have no traditions. My husband's birthday is the day before, so by V-Day I'm past the celebrating stage. Lots of activities in Charlotte for people looking for a V-day celebration. Yesterday I did an entire post on where wine lovers can go and celebrate V-Day in NC wine country.

I do not have anything planned. Maybe we could go get Aunt Jean and take her out to eat...

I will do as I do every year, pout!

It's just another day with us. Nothing special going on. No candy or flowers, and we hate eating out. Maybe we'll take a short hike depending on weather.

I have to show a house in the morning and probably write an offer (multiple showing of same house). But after that maybe go for a hike with the hubby.

We often get together with some good friends for a dinner party. 

This is a good reminder that I need to check on local events to write about

Usually dinner and movie at home.  Once upon a time we went out..Now I like staying in.  This year I'm spending the afternoon watching my grand daughter's cheer competition team. They are having a special performance with lunch. 

LOL  Valentine's Day and New Year's Eve are for amateurs!!  We've found when attempting to dine out on these evenings, service staff and kitchens were overwhelmed and it was the diners that suffered.  We learned a long time ago that we were wiser to stay home and create our own feast and festivities!  Check out my Valentine's Day Pinterest page

Normally we go out for a nice dinner at a special restaurant, though this year we are joining a former neighbor, who is now in an Assisted Living Care facility and 3 other friends of his, for a nice dinner where he lives.  That should be fun!  We always exchange a card and maybe something 'small' ourselves.  I know many restaurants here offer 'Specials' for that Sunday Sharon Kowitz.  Hope you have some 'plans'!

Hitting the gym and maybe or a bar or library.  Chances are, if you're there on V-Day, you're single.  Since I'm single, it may be a good place to find a date.

After Church we will go out for  Brunch. That has been our tradition for years.

To cold to ride the Harley or go out on the boat.

I am one of the least romantic people I know (the least romantic friend yelled at her husband for spreading rose petals in the bedroom and on the bed), so I won't be doing anything special.  I try to treat hubby specially throughout the year.

Here in Austin, Tx. Im a fan of taking the wife to Max's Wine Dive. It has an awesome atmosphere, fantastic food and a wild wine selection! Just a great place and not the typical stuffy atmosphere that we like for the holiday!!

No tradition. We are playing in a Valentine's Tennis Mixer.

We're not fans of Valentines Day at all.  I don't need a specific day to spoil my wife.  

WE save our special outings for real personal issues...
