It depends on what you mean by "poor results". I don't base success on comments or views by members. I'm more interested in getting hits from other sites where I share the short URL. That's when I know the public is reading my post. And if the phone rings or my inbox sings - that's success for me!

Good morning Richard. You are right, timing is everything. Content has a lot to do with it as well.

What do you mean by poor results. There are many ways to access your blog and get results.

Many times weekends can be a dead time on AR, but then occasionally we get a hot one, you just never know.

what's important is will consumers "find" your post in a google search, not if AR members will see it on their wall of posts.

I havd been having trouble posting for weeks, especially if photos are involved.

I put out a blog yesterday and it was read and commented upon. It feels good to put an idea out there even if no one reads them.

That does happen from time to time. I say ...poor taste and inconsiderate of those that hog the blog roll. Not much we can do about it. Sorry it happened to you.

I partially agree. Weekends are busy time for agents, family & everyone. I try to target my blog post on week days. Especially sharing of the post on social media over the week day .

Richard, like Susan Emo said, it depends on what your definition of results is. For me, just getting my blog out there for people to see (and not specifically AR members, but mainly the general populace) is my goal. Getting that "Click #50" email or getting comments/likes is a bonus for me.
I tend to post on Thursdays as the day allows. I don't worry about any specific time. Yes, someone flooding the blog roll can be annoying, especially when there is no content of value, but that's the name of the game when you have 300,000 members.

I was about to say something similar to Susan. I care way more about clicks and calls and when you post has nothing to do w/ google's placement. You may get fewer comments as less people tend to use/comment on Saturdays.

I've never considered the day when I post. I'm lucky to get a post done at all!

I don't think Sat is an active day for posting honestly.
They can be lost when there are 'serial' posters doing market reports. Which by the way is bad for SEO.

Sorry, I did not visit ActiveRain Saturday morning.
Usually I ignore the new listing posts when they come in multiples as they are posted for SEO and consumers rather than AR interaction.
