I will click it on good questions or good answers. I am not partial to one or the other. I do not click on questions that are ridiculous.

whatever is good gets a like.... it's a way of showing the writer he/she did a good job and you enjoyed what was said....

I very seldom use the like button.  Mainly becasue I forget it exists.

I like the questions I answer, and I upvote the most interesting answers.  I upvote almost everyone who takes the time to answer my questions.

Depends how much time I stay here. It is much faster to read the Q than all the As:)

Robert May - you need not like all the questions - and it does not make any difference as far as point system is concerned when you like a question.

However, if you 'upvote' and like the answer, it does make a difference.

And I like to 'upvote' good answers on my questions.

I don't think I have ever clicked the like button on a question but I've commented on a ton of them.

I click the like when I read a good question or the upvote for a good answer.

There are people from real estate school that post Q's here - don't be fooled by them .

I do not believe I have ever clicked the like button in the Q&A section.  Perhaps the button is not in a very like-able location.

Liking the question and upvoting comments are simply easy ways to pay it forward. 

I must admit, I click upvotes for comments I like. But I often forget to hit the like button for the question... more than for a post.

It took me a year to start to comment. You will find friends. People will go out of their way to help answer your problem. Upvote is the click if you like a comment or answer. You click like to say you read the question or answers and were here but perhaps don't have something to answer. Robert May

The one who posts the question gives EVERY respondant an upvote.

Those who repond to the question can upvote based on their opinion.

A good question gets lots of attention. I never bother "LIKING" a question.

Robert - I mostly click like for the answers, but if there is a good question, I will like that as well.

I click for both, but often forget to reward the good questions, sorry about that.

Robert May welcome aboard.  Look at "Like" just as being on Facebook.  You like something that is unique or strikes your fancy.  Sometimes just to show your support for a cause or individual.

As a Lender, and not an agent, I sometimes feel that I can't really contribute an answer or opinion to a question posted ... but I still see the value in the question offered and answers left.  I learn from them often.  For those questions, the "like" button is especially of benefit to me, Robert May.  For those questions I feel I can actually participate in (and their subsequent answers), I definitely leave the likes and "thumbs up" for those ...

I get the impression that the one asking the question clicks LIKE on all answers, just to acknowledge them. The readers pick and choose.
